Dr. Hang Chi has been actively pursuing advanced energy materials research, and (co-)authored 50+ publications in Science, Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., JACS, PRL, PRB, and APL etc. (2,000+ citations on Google Scholar, h-index = 20).
His projects have focused on thermoelectric and Dirac materials that may transform the future of energy, combining first-principles simulations and transport measurements (0.3 – 1,000 Kelvin, up to 35 Tesla) on high-quality crystals, epitaxial films grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE)/pulsed laser deposition (PLD), and micro/nano-devices fabricated via focused-ion-beam (FIB) and electron-beam (e-beam) lithography.
His expertise has been called upon as a frequent referee for 20+ leading journals including Science, Energ. & Environ. Sci., and NPG Asia Mater. etc.
